Assignment: We were instructed to read a research article, summarize it, and present it as if we were riding an elevator with someone who was interested in the subject.
Reflection: To do this assignment I enlisted the help of my real-life boss Alvina, who plays the part of my boss in the video. I thought about filming it with a video camera, but wanted to try a different approach for this project. Instead of filming two people talking, we recorded a script that I wrote out beforehand, and then took pictures of us with various expressions on our faces. Afterwards I took the photos and matched them to the script, creating a sort of comic-style of presentation. The hardest part was actually narrowing the highlights of the article down to a brief elevator talk (I have pasted the article below in case anyone wants to read it). I enjoyed creating a different style of video, and found this to be a fun way to expand my creative horizons a little bit.
