Assignment: Create an interactive presentation showcasing the results of the Course Design project.
Reflection: The project on which this assignment was based involved creating a course and implementing it. In order to do so, we had to understand the fundamentals of Instructional Design theory and perform tasks such as a Needs Analysis and Learner Analysis in order to properly understand how to structure the course to be most effective. Doing this project required a bit of re-thinking in terms of how I present information, since I had to put myself in the shoes of the people who would be taking this course. I came to realize that my learners were not familiar with some of the concepts involved in setting up the recording studio, so I had to figure out a way of instructing them without losing them along the way. In the end I think the course design project was fairly successful, though I do wish I had time to delve into some of the underlying theories of video production with the learners in order to facilitate actual problem-solving skills.
